ICDD welcomes community members, civic leaders, business partners, and downtown members to attend the 2026 State of the Downtown on Wednesday, May 20, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Voxman Music Building. Tickets include drinks, light bites and dessert.

This gathering provides an opportunity to reflect on our collective accomplishments over the past year and to look ahead at the next chapter as we prepare to welcome new members into the expanded district. 

Attendees can enjoy happy hour from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. where you can connect with fellow downtown members and supporters while enjoying refreshments, snacks, and a pop-up exhibit showcasing the ICDD through the years. The program and presentation will follow from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., during which you'll hear from ICDD leadership about our accomplishments and future plans. We are also pleased to welcome Keynote Speaker, Jason Ilstrup, President of Downtown Madison, Inc.
