Prairie Kitchen Store Workshop | Olive Oil and Vinegar: An Introductory Tasting Experience

The owners of Prairie Kitchen Store will be educating attendees on Olivelle Oils and Vinegar: the single estate, high-quality products that are carried in-store. From harvesting to pressing to bottling, they'll give you the rundown on where the oil comes from and why Olivelle is a trusted source for this favorite ingredient. Olive oils run rampant in the market and finding a product that is healthy, flavorful, and above all, the real-deal, can be difficult and time consuming. 

Not only will we discuss olive oil sourcing, we'll talk about how you can use oils and vinegars in your own kitchen, giving you recipe cards and an information packet to help with your home preparation. Attendees will taste ice cream drizzled with a summer peach balsamic which is a beautiful pairing that will satisfy your summer cravings. 

Each participant will also walk away a 100ml bottle of Frantoia EVOO and a 100ml bottle of Harvest Fig Balsamic Vinegar. 

The Iowa City Downtown District will provide complimentary glasses of wine and bread and olive oil for attendees while they learn, mingle, create, and enjoy themselves during a leisurely night Downtown!
